Becker Iron & Metal began in 1968 and was acquired by Alter in August 2006. The Marshall location accepts all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous items, except for items that are refrigerated or have liquids in them or that do not meet the list of acceptable or conditionally acceptable items as found on this website.

Most of this yard has paved concrete drives, and customers don't have to go off of it to be unloaded by magnet cranes or pay loaders. During cold weather, the Marshall location has a building large enough for customers to pull inside to unload. Don is our New Steel and Scale Buyer and Laurie is our New Steel and Scale Buyer Assistant. This location provides roll-off container services and offers many semi-trucks for picking up scrap at industrial locations.
