In late 2007, Alter Metal Recycling acquired Doggett Auto Truck & Salvage. Doggett was founded by Jerry Doggett in 1977; he owned and operated the facility for the past 30 years and will continue to be actively involved in the business. In the past, Doggett only accepted cars and trucks but will now buy and process all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
