The Des Moines facility has been in the area for 25 years and accepts ferrous
and non-ferrous items, appliances and car bodies. Customers bringing us scrap and
appliances will find clean, paved, concrete drives. We also have a new car shredder.
Most customers will run into Paul White, our Yard Administrator. Paul has been with
Alter for over 20 years. Our Des Moines facility provides industrial programs
for suppliers of scrap metal and can provide containers of many different sizes
depending on the needs of your business. We currently have over 175 containers in our
fleet and can usually pick-up in less than 24 hours. And you can find us in and around
the community.
